Swing Axle Warning ⚠️

Early Spitfire, GT6 Mk1, Herald, Vitesse have swing-axle rear:

  • Positive camber change causes rear tuck-under
  • Sudden oversteer at limit
  • Drive within limits

Later models (GT6 Mk2+, Vitesse Mk2) have improved geometry.

Dolomite Sprint - 16-Valve Pioneer

First mass-produced 16-valve engine:

  • 2.0L SOHC 16-valve
  • 127hp
  • Head warping/gasket issues
  • Requires careful cooling maintenance
