1. What KickingTyres Is
KickingTyres is a car auction aggregation platform. We collect and display listings from auction houses across the UK in a single searchable interface. We are not an auction house. We do not sell cars. We do not facilitate transactions or bidding.
When you click through to a listing, you are taken to the auction house's own website where all bidding, payment, and transactions take place directly between you and the auction house.
2. Accuracy of Information
Listing data displayed on KickingTyres is sourced from auction houses and may contain errors. Descriptions, images, prices, estimates, condition reports, and all other listing details are provided by the source auction house — not by KickingTyres.
Always verify details with the auction house directly before making any purchasing decisions. We make reasonable efforts to keep information current and accurate, but we cannot guarantee the completeness or correctness of any listing data.
3. No Financial Advice
Price estimates, auction results, market trends, and any other price-related information on KickingTyres is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, investment, or purchasing advice. Past auction results are not indicative of future values.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. One account per person. You must not share your account credentials with others or create multiple accounts.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from KickingTyres.
- Use the platform for any commercial purpose without our written permission.
- Interfere with or disrupt the platform or its infrastructure.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform.
- Reuse, republish, or redistribute listing data or images without permission from the respective auction house.
6. Intellectual Property
The KickingTyres name, logo, branding, and original content (including brand guides, editorial content, and site design) are our intellectual property.
Listing data, images, and descriptions belong to the respective auction houses. We display this content under fair use for the purpose of aggregation and are not claiming ownership.
7. Limitation of Liability
KickingTyres is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the platform.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, KickingTyres shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to losses arising from reliance on listing information, missed auctions, or purchasing decisions.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify registered users by email. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
