About the MGB GT V8

The factory MGB GT V8 (1973-1976) fitted the lightweight Rover V8 producing 137hp into the GT shell. Despite weighing less than the 4-cylinder car, production was limited to 2,591 units due to the oil crisis. Only available as a GT, never as a roadster from the factory. Faster than an E-Type at a fraction of the price.
