Known Issues to Watch For
Engine: 5-valve V8 - cam belts critical (every 3 years). Exhaust manifold cracks. Header gaskets. Sticky engine - maintenance must be immaculate. Transmission: 6-speed manual excellent. F1 gearbox - actuators, hydraulics expensive. Electrics: Relays fail. A/C. Body: Aluminium - check for corrosion at mounting points. General: Expensive to maintain properly. Budget £10-15k annually. Neglected cars are money pits.
