About the Boxster S

The 987 Boxster S (2004-2012) featured a 3.4-litre engine producing 295hp (later 310hp with the 987.2). The S model offered genuine sports car performance with the handling balance the mid-engine layout provides. PASM adaptive dampers were available, and the 987.2 cars are particularly sought after for their improved engines and reduced IMS concerns.
