2004 Porsche 911 (996) GT3 RS

The 996 GT3 RS (2003-2004) was the first RS variant of the modern GT3. With wider body, Clubsport suspension, and weight reduction, the RS was even more track-focused than the standard GT3. Power remained at 381hp but reduced weight improved performance. Around 680 were built. The 996 GT3 RS established the RS template for all that followed.

All GT3 issues plus: Lightweight panels harder to repair. Track use almost universal - inspect thoroughly. Roll cage installation quality varies. Verify RS specification authentic (well-replicated). PCCB if fitted needs inspection.
