The naturally-aspirated 4.8L V8 version producing 400hp, offering the classic Porsche V8 experience in four-door form. The rear-wheel-drive layout provides the purest Panamera driving experience, with perfect weight distribution and communicative steering. The V8 soundtrack and throttle response make this a genuine GT car despite its size.

V8 timing chain and tensioner require monitoring. Air suspension compressor and strut failures common. Oil consumption can increase after 100k miles. PDK mechatronic unit issues. Coolant leaks at various points. Some bore scoring reports on high-mileage cars.

PASM air suspension, Sport Chrono, Sport Exhaust, 18-way adaptive seats, Burmester audio. Later V8 cars preferred for refinement. Ceramic brakes if regular performance use planned.
