About the Turbo R
The Turbo R transformed Bentley's image, establishing the marque as a performance brand distinct from Rolls-Royce. A Garrett turbocharger boosted the 6.75-litre V8 to over 300bhp, while firmer suspension, larger wheels, and subtle body modifications created genuine sports sedan capability. The R stands for "roadholding."
