Dodge Viper: V10 engine relatively simple (pushrod) but massive - significant oil capacity. Overheating possible if cooling neglected. Side-exit exhausts (early) can cook door sills. 6-speed Tremec manual only - no automatic ever offered. Heavy clutch. Gen 1/2 have NO electronic aids - will bite hard if you exceed grip. Gen 5 finally added stability control. Tyres expensive and wear quickly. Very wide - challenging in UK. Zero practicality. Parts available through specialists. Never factory RHD - conversions rare and expensive. Insurance expensive. Budget £4,000-8,000 annually. Respect the power.
