About the C-V8
The Jensen C-V8 (1962-1966) introduced American V8 power. Chrysler 5.9-6.3 litre V8 with 305-330hp. Fibreglass body, disc brakes all round. Around 500 built. The Interceptor's predecessor. Values from £70k.
Known Issues to Watch For
Jensen C-V8: Engine Chrysler V8 (361/383ci) - tough, reliable American V8. Parts available from US suppliers. Torqueflite auto robust. Manual rare and valuable. Steel chassis platform - rust is primary concern. Check subframes, floors, sills thoroughly. Fibreglass body doesn't rust but can hide chassis rot. Dunlop four-wheel discs need specialist attention. Values underrated compared to Interceptor. Budget £4,000-6,000 annually.
