Mustang Gen 1: Engine - Small-block (289/302) excellent with good parts. Big-block (390/428/429) powerful but thirsty. Boss 429 - specialist only. Transmission - Various autos and manuals, generally strong. Body - Unibody prone to rust in UK climate. Check floors, torque boxes, inner fenders. Import considerations - LHD, conversion possible but expensive. Values - Rising, especially Boss and Mach 1. Budget £3-6k annually.
