Revived Griffith name for 1992 launch of new TVR sports car. Stunning John Airey design with sensuous curves. Rover V8 3.9-litre engine producing 240bhp in lightweight tubular steel chassis. 0-60 in 4.8 seconds made it one of fastest cars available. Raw, involving driving experience that defined TVR character.

Rover V8 issues: oil leaks, timing chain, water pump. Outrigger corrosion on chassis critical. Differential failures under hard use. Gearbox choice affects reliability (T5 better than Rover LT77).
