Ferrari V8 Berlinetta
360 - 360

Auction 6 May
This 1999 Ferrari 360 Modena is a German-market example that underwent a conversion by Koenig Specials in Munich in 2003 that involved modification of the 3.6-liter F131 V8 with upgraded pistons, twin KKK turbochargers, and dual intercoolers as well as installation of a custom roof intake, plexiglass engine cover, decklid, and rear grille.
The Ferrari 360 Modena (1999-2005) introduced an all-aluminium chassis and 400hp 3.6-litre V8. Pininfarina styling set new standards. The 360 transformed Ferrari from temperamental to (relatively) reliable. Around 8,800 Modenas built. Values from £70k.
Engine: V8 generally reliable but: F1 gearbox actuators and pump expensive (£5k+). Manual preferred by many. Exhaust manifold cracks. Ball joints. Electrics: Relays. Instrument cluster. Body: Aluminium - check for corrosion. Accident repair quality varies. General: Budget £6-10k annually. Much more reliable than F355.
Manual gearbox (significant premium), Challenge Stradale specification, Fiorano handling pack, Full service history
