About the 911 Speedster
The 991 Speedster (2019) was a limited farewell to the 991 generation. Just 1,948 units were produced (referencing 1948, the year of the first Porsche). The 4.0-litre GT3 engine, six-speed manual transmission, and distinctive double-bubble tonneau cover created an instant classic. Lightweight specification and rear-wheel drive delivered a pure driving experience. The last naturally aspirated, manual, rear-wheel-drive 911 Speedster.
Known Issues to Watch For
All 991.2 GT3 mechanical issues apply. Manual gearbox - check clutch condition. Soft top mechanism is simpler than power tops but still needs inspection. Check tonneau cover condition. Extreme collectibility means verification of specification and provenance essential.
