The Honda Civic Type R FL5 (2022-present) is the current masterpiece with 325hp from the evolved K20C1. Cleaner styling, improved interior quality, and even sharper dynamics. Japan-built. Widely considered the best Type R yet and possibly the best hot hatch ever made. Values from £50k.

Civic Type R FL5: Engine K20C1 evolved to 325hp. Too new for comprehensive long-term data but K20C1 proven unit. Japan-built (not Swindon). Gearbox 6-speed improved. Generally well-received with excellent reviews. Strong demand, limited supply. Budget £1,500-2,500 annually estimated.
