Plus 4 (Classic): Chassis - as 4/4, Z-section steel, check for rust. Engine - Standard (early) or Triumph TR (1954-1968) engines excellent but need specialist knowledge. Fiat/Rover (1985-2000) well understood. TR engines most desirable. Gearbox - Moss (early TR) or all-synchro. Body - ash frame as 4/4, check for rot. Sliding pillar suspension as 4/4. Budget £3-5k annually. TR-engined cars most sought after.
