About the G 63 AMG
The W463 G 63 AMG (2012-2018) used the M157 5.5-litre twin-turbo V8 with 544hp. Replaced the naturally aspirated era with turbo thrust. Outstanding performance.

Engine: M113/M113K supercharged - supercharger components, intercooler pump. M157 twin-turbo - turbo components, check for leaks. M279 V12 - complex and expensive. Solid axles: Check bushings, steering damper, ball joints. Differentials: Check locks and for leaks. 6x6: Portal axles require specialist knowledge. General: AMG G-Class is robust but expensive to maintain. Specialist knowledge required.
