Known Issues to Watch For

Dolomite Sprint: Engine: 2.0 16-valve - pioneering but fragile. HEAD GASKET is THE issue - head warps, gasket fails. Overheating causes damage. Water pump, thermostat critical. Some converted to 8-valve (reduces value significantly). Properly maintained Sprints are excellent. Gearbox: 4-speed + overdrive. Rust: Monocoque - sills (structural), A-posts, floors, rear arches, boot floor, inner wings. Values: Rising - appreciating the pioneer. Good ones command premium.
