The Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith (1946-1959) was the first post-war Rolls-Royce, built at the new Crewe factory. The 4.3-litre six-cylinder in coachbuilt bodies. Around 1,883 built. Elegant post-war luxury.

Silver Wraith/Dawn: Engine: Six-cylinder F-head - generally reliable. Oil leaks. Carburettors. Gearbox: 4-speed manual or early auto. Brakes: Mechanical servo - need setup. Body: Steel or coachbuilt - rust in floors, sills. Budget £8-15k annually.
