1966 MG Midget 1100 A very early and rare example

The Midget Mk II (1964-1966) upgraded to the 1098cc engine as standard with 59hp. Semi-elliptic rear springs replaced the quarter-elliptics for improved handling. Wind-up windows added comfort. The Mk II represents the sweet spot of classic Midget ownership with improved features and still-simple mechanicals.

All Midget rust concerns apply. Semi-elliptic springs better but still fatigue. 1098cc engines more durable than 948cc. Gearbox synchromesh wear on 2nd. Front kingpins wear rapidly. Check rear spring mounting points carefully.
