Further developed S-Series with equipment improvements and refined handling. Ford 2.9-litre V6 option offered more torque. Better instrumentation and interior quality. Suspension geometry optimised through production experience. Excellent all-round sports car.

V6 timing chain tensioner wear. Better build quality but still hand-made variation. Suspension bush wear. Brake system requires regular bleeding. Clutch cable adjustment needed. Weather sealing improved but not perfect.

2.9-litre engine option, full weather equipment, alloy wheel choices, upgraded interior trim, hardtop.
