Known Issues to Watch For
TR4/TR4A/TR250: Engine: 2.1 four (TR4) or 2.5 six with carbs (TR250) - reliable but oil leaks expected. TR4A IRS: More components to wear - check trailing arms, differential mounts. Live axle simpler but less refined. Chassis: Check outriggers, crossmembers thoroughly. Body: Steel, rusts in floors, sills, A-posts. Values: Solid classic market. IRS preferred. Budget £2-4k annually.
