1960 MG A COUPE

The original MGA (1955-1959) introduced MGs revolutionary streamlined body design, replacing the traditional pre-war styling. With its 1489cc B-series engine producing 68hp, it could reach 95mph. The first MG to feature rack and pinion steering, establishing a new direction for the marque.

Floor pan rust is endemic - check inner sills and battery box area. Rear wheel cylinders prone to seizure. Gearbox synchromesh weak on 2nd gear. Rear axle seals often leak onto brake drums.
