2012 Porsche 911 (991) Carrera S

The 991 Carrera S (2011-2019) offered more power and larger brakes than the standard Carrera. The 991.1 used a 3.8-litre naturally aspirated flat-six producing 400hp, while the 991.2 switched to a 3.0-litre twin-turbo with 420hp. The S included PASM adaptive dampers as standard, larger 20-inch wheels, and sports exhaust. The 991 Carrera S offers an excellent balance of everyday usability and genuine sports car performance.

All Carrera issues plus: Larger brakes more expensive to service. Sports exhaust (if fitted) needs inspection. PASM standard - check damper condition.
