1954 MG TF

The MG TF (1953-1955) was the final evolution of the T-Type, featuring a sloping radiator grille and faired-in headlights for a more modern appearance. Initially with the 1250cc XPAG producing 57hp. Controversial when launched for its traditional mechanicals, now appreciated as the last of the classic MGs.

All TD mechanical concerns apply. Unique bodywork panels harder to source than TD. Front grille surround damage common. Check for accident damage around faired headlight areas.

TF 1500 specification (more desirable). Matching numbers. Good chrome and bodywork. Original specification preferred. Competition history valued.
