The MG ZT 190 (2001-2005) was the sporting executive saloon based on the Rover 75. The 2.5-litre KV6 produced 190hp with MG suspension tuning. Combined Rover refinement with MG sporting character. A genuine alternative to BMW 3-series at a lower price.

KV6 timing chain tensioner can fail - listen for rattle. Suspension bushes wear faster than Rover 75 due to stiffer setup. Electrics complex and troublesome. Rust affects sills and rear wheel arches. Gearbox weak for sporting use.
