The MGB GT Coune Berlinette (1967-1968) was a Belgian coachbuilt conversion by Jacques Coune. The fastback body replaced the standard GT roofline with a more rakish design. Only 56 were built, making this one of the rarest MGB variants. Contemporary road tests praised the improved aerodynamics.
Extreme rarity - verify authenticity absolutely. Coune bodywork panels unavailable. Finding specialists challenging. All MGB mechanical concerns apply. Values extremely high for genuine examples.
Documented Coune provenance essential. Period photographs or documentation. Numbers matching mechanicals. Any genuine Coune is highly collectible regardless of condition.
