The Impreza GB270 (2007) was the UK-specification special with 270hp. Final Hawkeye-era limited edition. Enhanced over standard WRX with power upgrades and unique features. Marks the end of the classic Impreza bodystyle era. Values rising as appreciation for Hawkeye shape grows.

GD Impreza (2000-2007): Engine: EJ205/EJ207/EJ255 turbo - timing belt critical, head gaskets (EJ25 2.5L more prone than EJ20), turbo wear, boost leaks. Gearbox: 5-speed (WRX) synchros wear; 6-speed (STI) stronger but not bulletproof. DCCD: Check all modes function. Rust: Better than GC but still check sills, arches, boot floor - 15-20 year old cars. Values: Blobeye considered sweet spot. RB320/WR1 command premiums. Budget £2-3k annually maintenance.
