2015 McLaren 675LT

The 675LT revived McLaren's legendary Longtail name, first seen on the F1 GTR. Just 500 coupes were built, each featuring a longer tail (hence the name), more aggressive aerodynamics, and 666hp from the enhanced M838TL engine. Weight was cut by 100kg through carbon body panels, lightweight wheels, titanium exhaust, and stripped interior. The 675LT was significantly more focused than the 650S - faster, louder, more extreme. It established the LT formula: take a Super Series car, make it lighter, more powerful, and more track-focused.

Based on 650S mechanicals but with higher stresses. Engine: M838TL higher output - check service history carefully. Titanium exhaust: prone to discoloration (cosmetic). Track use: Many were tracked hard - check suspension, brakes, clutch wear. Carbon body: More extensive than 650S - check for damage/repairs. Limited production: Parts availability potentially challenging for unique components. General: Many owners added roll cages and track preparation.
