GD Impreza (2000-2007): Engine: EJ205/EJ207/EJ255 turbo - timing belt critical, head gaskets (EJ25 2.5L more prone than EJ20), turbo wear, boost leaks. Gearbox: 5-speed (WRX) synchros wear; 6-speed (STI) stronger but not bulletproof. DCCD: Check all modes function. Rust: Better than GC but still check sills, arches, boot floor - 15-20 year old cars.
